Some questions I just do not understand

I just got a question the other day and I deleted it. I should of posted with an answer. The person would not even write who they were.
The person wrote me and asked why I am writing about beekeeping and you have never had any bees? Well that is an easy question. I am writing this as a new bee so other can maybe learn from what I do right or wrong. I am not telling people to do as I am because I know very little about taking care or bees. I know that I am going to do my best and write down honestly what happens during my first year.

  1. I wouldn't worry about it - I blogged prior to getting my bees too. I am now in my 2nd year, and still have lots to learn, from both the old timers and the new-bees!

    Cheers,

  2. because working with honey bees is more than just putting them in a hive and collecting honey and posting in forums about how great you are.

Working with bees is a mental process, it's a frame of mind and an acquired personality trait.

By journaling (or blogging if journaling in public) you commit your transformation into this new person as it happens. It can not only give others insight into your mind and growth, but it gives you something to look over and contemplate and use as a personal milestone as you expand your experience and understanding.

You keep on journaling and he can keep being ignorant. You come out ahead any way you look at it.
